UPLIFT
Youth & Education

The AYCO UPLIFT program supports youth through various programs while offering culturally specific mentorship, which aims to develop leadership and strength cultural identities amongst our young generations.

BRIDGE
Community Health
& Development

BRIDGE Health & Development aims to bridge the gaps in services experienced by new immigrants. Our staff provide knowledgeable guidance through health care and disability resources, with understanding of the language and culture of those seeking this support.

CED
Community Economic Development

To empower and educate refugees by providing sustainable, diverse economic support and offering information and resources.

ORGANIZATION
Development

We envision a future where a strong cultural identity within immigrant’s communities of the Pan Africa Diaspora is supported by inclusive educational and economic opportunities.

📢 Amazing news! Our team had the privilege of attending the CommuniCare Awards Ceremony, where we witnessed the incredible impact of nonprofit organizations in our community. We are thrilled to announce that AYCO has been granted a generous $10,000 from Jefferson High School's Black Student Union! 🎉

It was truly powerful to see these young high school groups passionately describe the different organizations they chose to support. We were particularly amazed by the remarkable introduction given by Jefferson HS Black Student Union, who eloquently highlighted AYCO's mission and vision. They recognized our dedicated efforts to stand up for the East African Immigrant and Refugee communities, as well as the Pan-African Diaspora.

This recognition is a testament to the exceptional work each and every one of you does. We are incredibly proud of the impact we have made together, and it was an honor to have Nuradin and Ahmed represent our organization.

💪🏽 Being recognized and supported by the Black Student Success network is a true testament to our shared commitment in creating opportunities and empowering our students. Together, we are determined to dismantle systemic inequities that have left Black students underserved for far too long. 🌟🤝

✨ As members of this network, we have the privilege of connecting with a community of inspiring Black leaders who share our passion for student success. The invaluable meetings and workshops provide an enriching space for idea exchange, sharing best practices, and learning from one another's experiences. 🗣️🌍
