AYCO has been awarded an incredible $10,000 grant by the grant makers from Jefferson High School Black Student Union!

Being recognized and supported by the Black Student Success network is a true testament to our shared commitment in creating opportunities and empowering our students. Together, we are determined to dismantle systemic inequities that have left Black students underserved for far too long.

As members of this network, we have the privilege of connecting with a community of inspiring Black leaders who share our passion for student success. The invaluable meetings and workshops provide an enriching space for idea exchange, sharing best practices, and learning from one another’s experiences.

Our interactions have deepened our understanding of the challenges faced by Black students in Oregon, and we have leveraged the network’s expertise to develop effective strategies for addressing these disparities. Together, we are shaping a brighter future for our students!
